Recovery key

Hold someone's recovery phrase? You can cancel a suspicious pending withdrawal at any time. After the owner has been inactive for the vault's recovery delay, you get full control.

what a recovery key can do
  • always — cancel the vault's pending withdrawal (e.g. one to an unknown address).
  • after the delay — if the owner did nothing for the configured time, withdraw, stake and unstake like the owner.
  • 16 keys — a recovery tree has 16 one-time keys, so use them sparingly.
